My work, my teaching and economics tips – well, it’s kind of a struggle to say this, but they’re open source. However, it’ll be nice if you (especially if you’re an Economics teacher, or a teacher of any other subject even) drop me a message (by leaving a comment) that you do intend to use any of my examples. It’s not really a tracking mechanism, but probably more of a networking kind of thing.
One particular really good Economics teacher once told me how he’s actually very willing to share information on curriculum and teaching methods, and it left his school principal slightly exasperated. Why are you doing this, he wanted to know. So this particular teacher replied, “Sir, it’s not just about being the best. Being the best just means that everyone else is lousier than you are. When everybody becomes better, there is better competition. Till then, we can strive to be the best again, and we would really be the best of the best.”
“The idea is not to just be really good at you are doing – everybody has to be as good. This is when competition breeds perfection.”

I’m going to have to add some of my beliefs to his statements – teaching is not just about teaching your subject. The truth to be told, the basics of Economics are rooted in several sciences and social sciences – Mathematics, Sociology, Psychology, History, Geography, Anthropology, etc. Teaching itself is even more holistic than that – with every classroom providing a different challenge to the teacher.
Therefore, may this site be a site of sharing.
